- promotion of a guidebook by Marta Duch and Mateusz Dyngosz, published by Fundacja Studiów Strategicznych in Krakow, and meeting with the authors.

The Cornflower-blue Space - vernissage of exhibition of paintings by Małgorzata Bundzewicz.
She graduated from Law Department of Jagiellonian University and Department of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, as well as in Set Design. She does painting and drawing. She completed 20 set designs. Since l989, she has been teaching therapy through art (ART STUDIO MIODOWA) at the Psychiatric Clinic for Adults of Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian. She displayed her works at some 20 individual exhibitions of painting and drawing in Poland and abroad. Her works appeared in over 50 joint exhibitions.

Wednesday, June 16th, 6.00 p.m.

The Promised Hell: From a Shtetl to Buenos Aires - meeting with Professor Elsa Drucaroff from Argentina, author of the book by the same title, published by Wydawnictwo DodoEditor, 2010.
(meeting in English).
The novel is set in the reality of Poland and Argentina of 1920s. It deals with problems of prostitution of Jewish women of Polish origin in Buenos Aires, as well as with the situation of the Jewish Diaspora and Polish-Jewish relations.

Borges and Anti-Semitism - lecture by Professor Alejandro Horowicz from Argentina, (in Spanish, with translation into Polish).

Stefania Grodzieńska - A Humorist - meeting with Beata Kęczkowska.
Stefania Grodzieńska (1914-2010), writer, columnist, radio announcer, scriptwriter, author of cabaret dialogues, entertainer and actress, known as "The First Lady of Polish Humor."
Collections of her columns and sketches have been published as A Day of a Satirist (Dzionek satyryka), The Frivolous Me (Jestem niepoważna), The Ugly Garden (Brzydki ogród), Columns and Sketches (Felietony i humoreski), Plagues Little and Small (Plagi i plażki), and Bits and Pieces - Masculine, Feminine and Neutral (Kawałki męskie, żeńskie i nijakie).
She is also the author of a biographical portrait of Fryderyk Jarosy - Born of a Freebooter (Urodził go Niebieski Ptak) and the humorous Confessions of a Moonlighter (Wyznania chałturzystki), and the biography Nothing I must Do Any More (Już nic nie muszę).
